    Joy Is Peace

    Filed under: Better New Age Resources — admin @ 9:08 pm

    “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:11).

    Joy and religion seem opposites, because too many of us are morose Christians, but Jesus was/is a Man of Joy as well as a Man of Sorrows. The only contrariness here is those of us who proclaim Jesus as Lord and then walk around, down in sole and soul.

    Joy is internal, solid and light; pleasure is external, liquid and gray;
    Joy is and will be; pleasure is a has-been;
    Joy is character; pleasure is a condition;
    Joy is expansive; pleasure is expensive;
    Joy is reflection on the way to perfection; pleasure is deflection;
    Joy is sense; pleasure is senses;
    Joy has reserves; pleasure has reservations;
    Joy is sharing; pleasure is shearing;
    Joy is a variety of blessings; pleasure is a variable of emotions.

    “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame…” (Hebrews 12:2). Jesus’s joy was and is as our Mediator, the Maker of Peace, the Reconciler. There is a misconception that Christianity is synonymous with suffering. His cousin John dwelt in the wilderness, but Jesus joined in the festivities of life. His joy was and is as our compassionate Savior. He was as full of sensibility and enthusiasm as any man who ever lived and He experienced great joy, as well as great suffering. In His suffering, His full joy was in knowing that, especially in this, He and His Father gave the magnificent gift of liberation to us all.

    The One

    Filed under: Better New Age Resources — admin @ 8:13 pm

    To our modern eyes the concept of the One or Oneness is mystical and Eastern in origin and there will be found truth in this. But we can perceive this reality with our Western eyes. Try to imagine yourself as a grain of sand. You are nestled upon the beach, one of trillions and trillions of grains of sand. You are quite separate and yet also part of and similar to the whole. All you see around you are other grains of sand. But whilst you concentrate on those, you neglect to see the sky from which falls the rays of the sun that contain life and the drops of rain that feed the ocean that formed you. You do not see that those other grains of sand were formed in the same way as you and that they too come from the same rocks; you are all the same. And one day, in millions of years you will form as ancient sedimentary rock one again.

    In this way, we are all formed by the same methods, with the same energy. We all eat the same produce of the earth and drink the same water. We shall all return to this same earth from where we came and the earth shall one day return to the universe from whence it came. Ultimately it shall all ‘roll-up’ in the Big Crash and all be one again. In truth, it is all one anyway. It is all interconnected and via quantum entanglement every piece of information is everywhere from all time in one place and in every particle. Imagine that! It’s like a hologram plate. When we look at it the picture placed there by light energy is three dimensional. When we smash the picture into a thousand pieces, every piece has the picture of the whole! This is what the holographic universe is like, but this time we have more dimensions such as time itself. So imagine, you as an individual are really part of a multi-dimensional holographic universe where you are everywhere in all-time!

    Well, that’s kind of what the One concept is about in a really simple way. So did ancient man understand this principle and what lessons for us can we draw? For an answer to this I just knew from my own research that I should turn to my Sufi friends and their ancient wisdom.

    There is a tale told by the 19th century Sufi master Ghuath Ali Shah and today re-told by Sufi masters across the world. To many the teachings mean nothing. They are just nice stories re-told again and again and have in the re-telling lost their value. But this is not true. Those with the eyes to see can understand the many meanings behind the tales and in this respect my years listening to and learning from various ‘teachers’ of the Gnostic loop, including Sufi’s, has seen me in good stead. The tale I speak of is known as The Four Travellers and I will now myself in all humility to the ancient masters, re-tell the tale and offer some explanation for our modern eyes. Understand of course, that in each tale, there are many levels of understanding and so you can find truths within for yourself.

    There was a forest, black as midnight and thicker than thieves. It was a favourite route for many, but suffered from highwaymen and robbers and so it was that four travellers found themselves needing to rest for the night, but fearful for their lives and possessions. They were good friends and had three of them had been so for many years and so after discussion they decided to take turns to watch around the campfire. They settled down and the first watch went to a carpenter and wood sculptor. He sat for a while and then noticed a small length of wood and so decided to pass the time carving a beautiful image of a woman. By the time he had finished it was time for the next watch and so he placed the wooden lady down and woke his friend.

    His friend was a tailor and after a while he too noticed the piece of wood and decided to make some clothes for the image of the woman. He produced a dress of silk and finished off with small leather sandals. Now it was time for him to sleep and he woke the next man who was a jeweller. Again to pass the time the jeweller decided to adorn the little figure with beautiful jewels. The final watch was summoned, but this time the man, a new friend the others had met on the journey, had no skills at all and so felt very ashamed of himself. He saw the wooden lady and admired the art and craft of his new friends. He wanted to show that he too was capable of improving upon the wood. He decided the only thing he could do was to seek the help of God and so he prayed:

    “Oh, Almighty and Merciful Lord, give us some portion of your glory and as the Giver of Life bestow upon this humble figure the gift of life.”

    The fire finally went out and all was dark, all was one black place. Then the sun rose and crept across the landscape, revealing the countless forms that had been part of the darkness. One of these forms was now new to human life - the wooden woman was a living, breathing creature. The four men now awake were aghast and in awe at their creation. The wood carver admired the contours; the tailor was gushing with pride at the serene silken dress and the jeweller thought the fine gems were full of inspiration. And yet the fourth man claimed the upper hand for himself, because it was he who had asked God to provide the life force. In truth, the four men, who just the night before had been friends, were now sworn enemies, each one claiming ownership of this thing of beauty.

    And so, because they could not decide who owned the stunningly mute female they made for the nearest town where they sought out the judge. Unfortunately the judge and the towns people simply thought they were fools and so sent then to see the king. Again, the king, thinking them to be fools sent them to the Sufi master who this time took all five out to see the Tree of Knowledge and with an assembled audience began to ask the tree for its wisdom. No sooner had the Sufi begun to speak than the tree opened up before them and as if by magic the young lady walked towards it and was swallowed whole. They never saw her again.

    This marvellous tale reveals many ‘truths’, but I wish to concentrate on just two of them here. The fact is that the woman had come from wood and would therefore go back to wood. She returned to the place from whence she came, just as we all shall. This is the concept of the One. It is the unity of the cycle itself. Not only are we part of the whole whilst in this part of the cycle or that part of the cycle; we are the One before and after and always shall be. As cosmic dust, solar rays and universal energy feed our planet and us, so too shall we ourselves return to cosmic dust, solar rays and universal energy one day. We shall return to the place from whence we came, we are part of a great unified universe. There is no tomorrow, no yesterday, neither exist. The only place in time and space that exists is now and that is a slice through the whole.

    But there is much more to this tale and for me there is a strong personal lesson for each and every one of us that can only be learned truly if we understand our ‘place’ in the greater whole. We are no different to that wooden woman. We came from the One into the One and so we are the One. Who is it that thinks they can form us, dress us and then give us life? Nobody owns us. To own is an anagram of now and in the now we exist. Whether your family, your town, your school or your employer or even your political or religious leaders - they all claim ownership at one time or another. And yet not one of them owns you just because they taught you, gave you life, gave you reason, clothed you or employed you. No ruler rules you. You are the same as everybody and everything else and no matter what another gives you it does not empower them above you.

    You may be a small piece of the holographic universe, but within you is the whole picture right now.

    Calibration Software

    Filed under: The Software Way — admin @ 10:54 am

    There are various types of calibration software packages that are readily available and are broadly divided under calibration management software, calibration laboratory management software and measuring equipment manufacturer software apart from the general calibration software.

    Calibration management software is predominantly employed by proprietors of measuring equipments to sustain quality assertion values with regard to the application of these tools in their establishment.

    Calibration laboratory management software is generally used by subcontracted calibrators in their calibration laboratories. Measuring equipment manufacturer software is commonly employed to track the equipment exiting a producer’s site.

    Calibration software is extensively used with a computer-dependent calibration arrangement, and is commonly used with other types of calibration-related software, or is used independently for various purposes. They are available in diverse types that vary from completely incorporated computer-driven calibration systems to uncomplicated computation programs, or spreadsheets entailing physical effort of readings.

    Calibration software plays a significant role in calibration laboratories. However, it should be borne in mind that such software is incoherent to calibration management techniques where calibration outcomes are not mandatory elements of the calibration records preserved by the system.

    This is applicable to all subcontracted calibrations, and open to documentation. This is also the case where separate calibration competence is of no significance to the owners and users of the measuring equipment.

    It may be similarly noted that calibration measurements and error standards are of definite concern to the calibration management system customer who desires to make use of inaccuracy or deterioration tendencies to evaluate the state of determining equipment and make pronouncements regarding its worth, consistency and effectiveness.

    How To Simplify Information Organization

    Filed under: The Software Way — admin @ 10:48 am

    One of the easiest ways to understand how quickly an organization strategy can become convoluted, confusing, and difficult is to look at the standard method used for organizing information on a personal computer. The idea started out right enough, using a system of files and directories to store various kinds of information and programs using meaningful names to help the users recognize and identify the information contained in a given location. Unfortunately, there soon developed such a web of files in different locations, Microsoft had to develop a tool called Explorer to help people search for where things went. With over a quarter of a million files located on a computer, the processing speed has to be quick just to complete a spyware or virus scan of the system.

    When a person organizes information, there are several basic questions that must be answered by the system of organization. These questions are:

    1. What am I organizing?
    2. Where am I going to put it?
    3. How am I going to find it again when I need it?

    Answering these basic needs is much more complicated than it would appear on first glance, as evidenced by the number of methods available for organization of information that do not provide effective solutions. Whether a person is dealing with business information, personal data, computer programs, documents, or groceries, the means for developing an efficient system of organization requires a closer look at where any system gets out of hand.

    When the organization process begins, the person must be able to define and remember what objects are being organized. Defining categories of objects is a process that is easy enough, because it is driven by a personal desire. We look at documents like tax information, letters, timesheets, research data, personal records, and other categorical information in large quantities that need to be managed on a regular basis. Establishing these categories of organization is always the first thing to consider.

    As the process continues, the next step is usually to find a location for the information, then to arrange the categorized information into some form of logical sub process that allows us to search through the information quickly to retrieve it. Often, this takes the form of alphabetical, time/date, or some kind of numerically arranged system of sorting each individual piece of information. In the case of computer based systems, there is usually a categorical directory, sub directories within the category, and finally the individual files which contain the desired information.

    When it comes time to retrieve the information that has been organized, the person must retrace the thought processes of the first two steps, then conduct a search that leads back to where the information resides. The key to a good organization system is to establish a logical process of categorization, location, and retrieval to result in maximum efficiency. In most systems, it is the growing inefficiency of searching during retrieval processes that comprise the weakest link in good organizational management. In fact, it is the searching/retrieval process that takes up the most time resources in managing any kind of information. To improve the effectiveness of an organization system, if it were possible to eliminate the traditional search processes for retrieving information, the new method would save a great deal of time and effort. In other words, if a person no longer needed to be concerned with where information resides once it has been cataloged, they could retrieve the information by simply knowing what they want to retrieve.

    With computers, it is now possible to organize information by creating an automated retrieval system as part of the initial organization process. This system allows the user to select the category of information they want to deal with, choose the item within the category, and the computer manages the process of locating the item within the system, and presenting it for interaction automatically. This means that people can have instant selection access to files, documents, programs, web locations, personal data, time based information, and other data simply by recalling what it is they want, without regard for where it is.

    The process flattens the convolutions of multi tiered organization systems like computer directories and files to a level that is organized by category and item, no matter how deep the layers of physical sub directory structures have become. In many cases, concern for defining items within categories can be circumvented as well, allowing users to get immediate access to individual items by calling the item directly with natural language control, and allowing the computer to retrieve the information without any further user interaction. This one or two step system of organization is one of the most powerful tools to be incorporated into software design since the advent of computers.

    Find Out the Things To Observe When Making Phone Comparisons

    Filed under: Miscellaneous — admin @ 11:35 am

    A large and forever growing mobile phone market following the rule of introducing the next big thing has now made it astonishingly hard for mobile customers to compare mobile special offers. Most of the time, there are loads of aspects that folk need to look into when making mobile comparisons that some of the most vital ones get overlooked.

    As a result, one constantly end up using a mobile phone which is either too high priced or a cell phone which is not ideal for your phone call and text profile. Hence we explain in this guide about the two very most top things that cell phone customers should forever look into when making mobile phone purchases. This will probably help people land a phone that at the very least meets the standard criteria cell phone customers are looking for.

    The complete mobile UK market is booming on the basis of awesome features like movie players that keep getting added every other day. Nonetheless, a profoundly large majority of folk acquire mobile phones based on their appearance, brand and fantastic marketing only to regret later on when people find that their good hand set lacks an awfully basic feature like sending text or picture messages. Many astonishing dear phones sell on the basis of hype, brand image and looks at prices that are unjustified if you look at the lack of features. For e.g. the most recent apple iphone does not let mobile customers forward text messages to all. Unfortunately, this phone’s target audience, early twenties, gets to regret the loss of this cell phone feature only after spending months worth of wages on it. And so make sure that your breathtaking new mobile phone has all the features like interactive maps you require before paying up. Since cell phone corporations will never tell mobile phone customers about the wonderful features like mp3 players that their mobile phones lack, reading up online mobile write-ups is the choicest way to do it. Mont-Blanc Increases in Mass from 2002 as Reported by Scientists

    Filed under: Travel Info — admin @ 1:42 am

    New careful GPS measurements carried out on the 15-16th September have recorded that Monte Bianco amounts to 4810.3 m. Mount-Blanc is smothered by a thick ice-cap which has got bigger by 2.8 metres in just two yrs however more unexpectedly the amount of the ice and snow has nearly doubled . Leastwise that is as reported by the scientists.

    The mass of snow and ice was computed for the initial time during 2004. It worked out to be 14200 cubic meters above 4780 m. It was only 13800 meters cubed in 2005 perhaps owing to the heat with positive temperature as high as 4800 m alt. Nonetheless the ice-cap has virtually increased twofold since then and today amounts to 23000 metres cubed.

    Chamonix Mont Blanc’s renowned local weather forecaster James Oliver said the increase in the size of the ice is among the contrary results of climate change: The amount of snow has not expanded overall in the Alps simply with the climate change we’re having additional warm westerly winds that bring rain lower down but during summer this means compact snow that rests at higher altitude than 3900 metres elevation therefore the volume of the ice-cap is growing. Compare that to the state of affairs in winter time where snow crystals are exceedingly cold and are carried by wind and so do not settle down on the crest.

    Investing In The Physical Or Virtual Real Estate World with Bryan Ellis

    Filed under: Better Marketing, Better Real Estate, Business Opportunities — admin @ 8:04 am

    Virtual Real Estate Investing” is a relatively new concept. What is meant by “Virtual Real Estate Investing” ranges from online games like SecondLife (where real profit can be made) to the use of internet technologies to make normal real estate investors more profitable.

    To get the facts, I sought out the man generally considered to be the father of virtual real estate investing: Bryan Ellis.

    “I began using the term ‘virtual real estate investing’ in the late 1990’s when I realized the clear similiarities in profit strategies, regardless of whether the “real estate” is “virtual” or “physical” said Ellis.

    Bryan Ellis cites the similar strategies one can employe to make money from “virtual property” and “physical property” as a primary parallel of the two markets. “These types of assets - websites and physical real estate - can be monetized in very similar ways like buy lo/sell high, leasing/rental and advertising opportunities” he says.

    The parallels really are obvious. Consider: A valuable piece of real estate is valuable largely due to the interest that other people have in that specific location. Likewise, if you own a desirable domain name, others will find value in it because it serves their purposes. So it doesn’t matter if you own physical real estate or virtual real estate - you’ll likely use similar strategies to turn them into money in your pocket.

    In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

    What Do Crickets Eat?

    Filed under: Recreation Tips — admin @ 1:33 am

    Crickets are insects that belong to the Order Orthoptera and the Class Insecta. Crickets are an important part of the ecosystem since they help in the breakdown of plant material. They are also an important source of food for other animals like small owls, spiders, birds, mice, shrews, snakes, frogs, raccoons and opossums. There are many species of crickets: house crickets, field crickets, ground crickets, cave crickets, mole crickets, camel crickets, snowy tree cricket and mole crickets.

    Crickets are reared and used as bait for fish and as food for some pets. The Chinese also use crickets in medicines. They are popularly used as a sport like cock fights. Crickets are also believed to bring luck. Rearing crickets is very easy since they tend to eat anything. Providing a nutritious diet to the crickets is very important as it helps in breeding. Another reason is that the nutrition from the cricket’s diet would be passed on to the pets, which each these crickets.

    Crickets are omnivores and feed on almost anything-usually organic materials, plant decay, grass, fruits, seedling plants, fungi and even meat. Crickets need good diet otherwise they tend to feed on each other. Cricket foods are commercially available in the market at feed shops. There are specific brands of cricket feed also. For a few crickets, tropical fish make a good meal though it would be expensive. Rolled oats with fresh fruits and vegetables is an ideal food for crickets. Cornflakes, bread and digestive biscuits can also be given. Crickets also relish fruits like apples, bananas and grapes and vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce and cabbage. Chicken laying mash is also good cricket food and is cost effective for feeding large number of crickets. Some food supplements like alfalfa, calcium supplements and raw vegetable scraps can also be added for additional nutrition. The food can be placed in an open and shallow container that is placed firmly on the ground. This container needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent the formation of mold.

    Crickets also need a good supply of water. However, keep the water away from the food to keep the food dry and fresh. Insert cotton swabs into the water vessel to prevent the crickets from drowning. Raising crickets is very easy.

    Using Lasers to Make Phantom Heat Signatures to Attract SAMs

    Filed under: Web Of Videos — admin @ 9:50 am

    If your enemy knows you are using stealth and their radars will not work on that. They may choose other options such as cell tower frequency circle disruptions or other such techniques. They may also choose to use some sort of heat signature device. But there might be a way to fool such a system and get your enemy to launch on a phantom decoy heat signature using two lasers from two different points.

    Consider Chemical Lasers that are airborne and very high-energy. Well if you take an Argon laser and a CO2 Laser and you point them at each others path they will combine and the collision of all those molecules will cause a secondary reaction and if the heat is ramped up sufficiently it will cause an anomaly in your enemies defense sensor system.

    Once the enemy launches surface-to-air-missiles at the anomaly, we simply pin-point location, in a split second and redirect the lasers using a BLOS reflector staged on a stealth blimp and take out that new target. If we do this is quick succession, then the enemies aerial defense strategy and all their hard ware is toast before the real war even begins.

    Is this technology even available yet? Indeed it is and the United States of America has it and it is ready to rip. Not only could this strategy work, but just having it makes the enemy hesitate because they have no idea if the signature on the radar is mass deception, fast moving incoming missile or stealth to deliver ordinance or merely a mirage decoy in the sky? Either way, all they can do is worry, wait or kiss their asses goodbye. See Ya! Game over insert more quarters; Consider all this in 2006.
